There are 5 groups of colonies floating in space that have been built.  Oz is an organization that has Earth under it's control and is trying to take the colonies next.  The colonies decide to rebel.  A scientist from each colony has built a mobile suit made from Gundanium.  They call these suits Gundams.  Each colony sends a young pilot to go to earth and fight against Oz.  The 5 young boys are, Quatre Raberba Winner, Duo Maxwell, Heero Yui, Chang Wufei, and Trowa Barton.

Heero Yui~ Heero likes to keep to himself.  He doesn't seem to trust many people.  He pilots Gundam 01, Wing.

Duo Maxwell~ Duo is probably one of the most friendly guys of the group.  He tries to make Heero more open.  He pilots Gundam 02, Deathscythe.

Trowa Barton~ Trowa came to Earth and joined the Circus as well as fighting.  He pilots Gundam 03, Heavyarms.

Quatre R. Winner~ Quatre is probably the smartest of the group.  He is a very friendly person.  He pilots Gundam 04, Sandrock.

Chang Wufei~ Wufei is probably the most violent of the group.  He definately likes to keep to himself and really doesn't trust anyone.  He doesn't like to be helped by the others.  He pilots Gundam 05, Shenlong.
